Red Alert Labs joins Fime
The combination brings Red Alert Labs’ cybersecurity evaluation expertise and CyberPass platform together with Fime’s global capabilities to support continuous assurance across the lifecycle of digital products and services.
“Red Alert Labs was built around the idea that cybersecurity assurance needs to become scalable and continuous,”
Roland Atoui, founder and Managing Director of Red Alert Labs.
Supporting cybersecurity throughout the product lifecycle
Products, regulations and threats continue to evolve after a product reaches the market. Manufacturers need to assess and maintain cybersecurity and compliance throughout that product’s life.
Red Alert Labs brings security evaluation and certification expertise, support for Cyber Resilience Act readiness and EUCC evaluations, and CyberPass, our compliance automation platform. Fime brings global consulting, testing and certification capabilities across payments, smart mobility and digital identity.
Together, we will support customers from advisory and security by design through implementation, testing, evaluation and certification to continuous assurance.
Combining laboratory expertise and compliance automation
CyberPass complements the work of our laboratory by helping manufacturers assess and continuously improve their compliance readiness. It also helps schemes and certification ecosystems manage assessment and certification processes at scale.
Bringing this platform and our cybersecurity expertise into Fime broadens the support available to customers as they develop products, prepare for assessment and respond to changing requirements after release.Continuity for our customers and partners
Red Alert Labs continues as the same legal entity, at the same premises, with the same team and technical management. Existing contracts remain in place, and ongoing projects and evaluations continue with the same people.
We remain an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory (ITSEF) under the EUCC scheme, up to the substantial assurance level. Our accredited scope is unchanged, and the laboratory retains its independence and technical autonomy.
The commercial identity “Red Alert Labs, cybersecurity by Fime” does not change the legal entity, its accreditation or the certificates issued against it.
The laboratory’s impartiality controls remain in force. Governance maintains the separation between accredited evaluation delivery and commercial activity. CyberPass remains outside the accredited evaluation function.
Extending cybersecurity across digital ecosystems
Payments, digital identities, connected devices and emerging AI-enabled services increasingly depend on shared foundations of security, interoperability and compliance. Digital wallets are one example of how these capabilities are coming together.
By combining our expertise with Fime’s, we can extend cybersecurity assurance into these ecosystems and help customers maintain trust as their products and services evolve.
Roland Atoui continues to lead Red Alert Labs, with an expanded scope encompassing Fime’s security activities globally.
We thank our customers and partners for their continued trust, and our team for the expertise and commitment that have brought Red Alert Labs to this milestone.
